    Loved everything about this place.
    1.  Plenty of parking for size restaurant.
    2.  Clean, bright& airy
    3.  Decor is fun, not tacky.
    4.  Daily Specials are priced right and plenty big
    5.  Servers are friendly, very nice people!

We dropped in for breakfast and loved every bite of it.  The gravy for biscuits is very tasty, not bland like so many other places.  Corn beef hash and eggs, wonderful!  Ham steak?  HUGE, tasty and tender; nice!
This was our first time at the West side YV location, won't be our last.

Coming from LA, we have our fair share of amazing brunch places so I had to bring down my bar a little when reviewing here.

We were in town for a wedding and a group of 6 of us decided to give here a try. The restaurant is located off the main highway. There's tons of parking for it. Probably more parking than there is room for people in the restaurant. Haha.

Our hostess was very sweet and gave us some recommendations. I opted for the 1 pancake, 1 egg, sausage and added a biscuit on the side. The food came out fairly quick. The biscuit was so good. A few people got the chicken fried steak and were not blown away by it.

Overall the meal was just your typical diner meal. Nothing crazy special but an authentic diner experience.

Found this great little spot on my way out of Joshua Tree, and it is everything you'd want at some roadside breakfast spot. Cute little building with local quirkiness and a deep love for horses realized through many pieces of decor inside. They got a really nice unisex bathroom on the outside too, seems recently remodeled! Weird point to make about a breakfast spot...but thought I'd point it out.

As far as the menu everything is basic country breakfast with some interesting omelettes whose only descriptions are "trust us...just try it!" which is exactly what I'd expect from a joint like this. And what really seals the deal for me is there is an honest down-to-earth grannie running the tables and convincing you like you were her own grandchild that you need biscuits and gravy instead of toast since you got lots of growing to do. Growing horizontally that is!

I was honestly worried the food wouldn't be anything special here but it is...everything is so soft, fresh, tasty and easy to scarf down. They're not going for anything weird and innovative or gourmet, they're going for comfort food country breakfast and it's done right like ya mamma would have made it. I got chicken fried steak with biscuits and gravy which were dangerously easy to eat and I swear the woofed the whole plate down embarrassingly fast. This spot will certainly be in my mind when I come out to the desert in the future.

Stopped by this little cafe almost at the turn off going into Joshua Tree National Park. It was so cute three ladies running around taking care of business and the chef in the back working his butt off keeping up with the orders. The food was hot and it was great for a small place. They are open from 7am-3pm. Better than most big chains. The eggs were perfect and the gravy was real creamy. The biscuits are the talk around there so you really have to order them. Don't be in a hurry but sit back and enjoy the time. Service was perfectly done 5/5.
    The good also 4.5/5

Hate to give this place five stars for selfish reasons.  It's probably the best breakfast in the high desert and why I dont want to give five star is because I don't want all the tourist stopping and making it hard for this local to get a seat. The staff is super sweet and helpful when it's not hot the outdoor area is nice place to sit and have a meal.  Indoors is small and decorated like and only farm kitchen.  For as busy as they get the wait staff is still nice even to the most crotchety. Watched an older "gentleman" clean off his own table while basically throwing an old man temper tantrum and the waitress was as sweet as if he was being nice. I couldn't have done it.  Hat off to you and your wonderful little restaurant.  The food was all wonderful. I had the CFS and it's the best I've had in the high desert and come to think about it it's one of the best including the Coachella valley.  We will be regual
